Mother's Day Surprise

Well it's been a long hard winter of knitting and not so much baking, I obviously had to eat, but I didn't really do much in the way of inspirational cooking. I did sneak home for Mother's Day and surprise my mom with a Sunday dinner. I thought it turned out well and I had good reviews from the guest although not my mother. Roasted Chicken, Warm Potato Salad with Bacon and Peas, coleslaw and for dessert toasted pound cake with ice cream and Nigella's Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Sauce. Very good. I didn't however take any pictures. I promise pictures for her birthday celebration.
